The Story Behind the Name: Isla's Garden Seeds

Isla (pronounced Eye-Luh) is the youngest in our family, and we named our company after her because she is the anchor for the six of us, filling our home with a playful, vibrant, and colorful joy, akin to a garden. If you've purchased seeds since the formation of our business in 2017, you may have received a rare packet with her photo on the front.

🥦 Purple Sprouting Broccoli is a variety of broccoli that is known for its unique, vibrant purple color and delicate flavor. It is a cool-season crop that is typically harvested in late winter or early spring and is prized for its sweet, nutty taste and tender texture.

☀️ This type of broccoli is a good source of vitamins C and K, as well as fiber and antioxidants, making it a nutritious addition to any meal. Purple Sprouting Broccoli is often steamed, stir-fried, roasted, or added raw to salads for a burst of flavor and color.
